Warranty Policy

1. Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our work. All labor and installation services are covered by our workmanship warranty:

  • Standard Services: 90 days from completion date
  • Major Installations: 6 months from completion date
  • Engine Builds: 12 months from completion date

This warranty covers defects in our workmanship. If we made an error during installation or service, we will correct it at no charge.

2. Parts Warranty

Parts warranties are provided by the manufacturer and vary by product:

  • Performance Parts: Typically 12 months manufacturer warranty
  • OEM Parts: As per manufacturer specifications
  • Consumables: No warranty (pads, fluids, filters, etc.)

We will facilitate warranty claims with manufacturers on your behalf. Some manufacturers may require proof of proper installation and maintenance.

3. ECU Tuning Warranty

Our ECU tuning services include:

  • File Backup: We keep a backup of your original factory calibration
  • Revision Period: 30 days for minor adjustments at no charge
  • Drivability Issues: We will address any drivability problems resulting from our tune

Engine damage is not covered unless it can be proven that our tuning directly caused the failure due to negligence.

4. What's NOT Covered

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by racing, track use, or motorsport activities
  • Failures due to misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance
  • Modifications or repairs performed by others after our service
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from accidents, floods, fire, or acts of nature
  • Parts or work not performed by Redline Autoworks
  • Vehicles used for commercial purposes (delivery, taxi, etc.)
  • Issues arising from deferred maintenance or pre-existing conditions

5. Warranty Claims Process

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact us immediately when an issue is discovered
  2. Provide your original invoice and detailed description of the problem
  3. Do not attempt repairs yourself or authorize work by others
  4. We will inspect the issue and determine if it's covered under warranty
  5. If approved, we will repair or replace the defective work/parts at no charge

6. Performance Modification Disclaimer

Performance modifications can increase stress on engine components and drivetrain. While we design all modifications to be reliable, we cannot guarantee that other components will not fail as a result of increased performance.

Important considerations:

  • Increased power may reduce engine and drivetrain longevity
  • Your manufacturer's warranty may be affected
  • Insurance companies may need to be notified of modifications
  • Some modifications may not be legal for road use

7. Warranty Conditions

To maintain warranty coverage:

  • Follow all break-in procedures we provide
  • Use recommended fluids and fuel grades
  • Maintain the vehicle according to service intervals
  • Notify us before making additional modifications
  • Keep records of all maintenance performed

8. Warranty Transferability

Our workmanship warranty is non-transferable. It applies only to the original customer who commissioned the work. Parts warranties may be transferable according to manufacturer terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective work or parts. We are not liable for consequential damages, loss of use, towing, rental vehicles, or lost wages.

10. International Customers

For customers outside Singapore, warranty service may require the vehicle to be returned to our facility. Shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
